If you’re searching for a way to while away as many as a dozen wintry weekends, then America’s Cardroom has announced a special series just for you. Beginning this Saturday, January 6th, ACR is offering the first of 12 consecutive installments of the Saturday Super Series, an expanded lineup of multi-table tournaments that will offer more than $750,000 in prize-money guarantees each and every Saturday this winter.
As the flagship site of the Winning Poker Network, America’s Cardroom had already offered a solid Saturday slate. Yet the cold winter months — and winter is always the busiest season for online-poker play — calls for much more. The prize guarantees offered during the duration of the Saturday Super Series amount to nearly four times the guarantees compared to ACR’s normal Saturday MTT slate.
According to a recent announcement from ACR, the new series includes the following highlights:
- $750k+ in Guaranteed Prize Pools for 12 consecutive Saturdays
- Increased guarantees to existing events
- $265 buy-in $200k GTD Freeze-out at 2:15pm ET
- Eight (8) tournaments with prize pools ranging from $30k to $200k
- Low, medium, and high stakes buy-in events added
As mentioned, there’s a wide range of events included. ACR’s winter tourney slate, comprising the Saturday Super Series, with the complete schedule appended below. (As always, the schedule is subject to change.) Each Saturday through January, February, and most of March, ACR’s Saturday Super Series serves up roughly 120 events.
There’s a handful of big-buy-in events, such as the aforementioned $265 $200K NLHE freezeout at 2:15pm ET, but lower-stakes players have plenty of guaranteed prize pools to opt into as well. Saturday Super Series buy-ins range all the way down to $0.50+0.05 (that’s 50 cents plus a nickel for rake), and they run all day long, beginning at midnight and wrapping the clock through an 11:30 p.m. turbo $5 event.
